DEATH AGONY

FR Death Agony est un groupe death metal old school, de Maubeuge (59- France). Sa musique est influencée par des groupes phares des années 90 tels Vader, Six Feet Under, Slayer et Behemoth. Le concept de Death agony repose sur la prise de conscience d'une réalité traumatique; lorsque la souffrance mentale est poussée à l'extrême, c'est vivre au travers de la fatalité, des pensées suicidaires, de la haine et du désespoir. Dans cet univers dépeint, la mort se pose en trame de fond, comme seule échappatoire. Après une démo et un EP , Death Agony sort "Carcinogenic Memories" son premier album autoproduit (09/2012) et signé en Août 2013 chez le label Great Dane Records, il permet d'étendre leur champs d'action puisqu'il est disponible en téléchargement légal (I-tunes,Deezer) et distribué par SEASON OF MIST en support physique. Ce premier album est très bien perçu par la presse. Fort d'environ 90 concerts/festivals depuis sa création en 2005 et ayant partagé l'affiche de plusieurs pointures internationale et nationale. Death Agony maîtrise la scène, et aime s'y retrouver. ENG Death Agony is an old school death metal band from Maubeuge (59-France). Its music is mainly influenced by the 90's cult bands such as Vader, Six Feet Under, Slayer and Behemoth. The concept of Death agony is based on the awareness of a traumatic reality; When mental pain suffering is pushed to the extreme, Death agony means one has to live through fatality, suicidal thoughts, hatred and despair. In this world, death becomes a background, as the only way to escape. After one demo and an EP, the band has self released its first album in September 2012, "Carcinogenic memories", and signed with the French label GREAT DANE RECORDS in 2013; It allows the band to propose a digital download (I-tunes, Deezer...) and to be physically distributed by SEASON OF MIST. This first album has Ieft a very good impression on the metal press. Death Agony has played on nearly 100 shows since its creation in 2005, and has shared the stage with international cult metal bands.
