Janet and the crew were simply magical! The show and costumes were amazing this time around! The meet and greet lived up to what I had hoped it would be. On the other hand, getting to the venue, we were sent in so many directions of where to go for VIP lounge and what areas we could go and could not. Staff had sent us to different areas just to get in. I think any ticket showing VIP should be allowed in all at the same time. The running around made no sense. But due to the show Janet and her crew gave us, we had a blast

That's a great show! Janet is a superwoman and a beacon of hope for us women. I was able to watch Janet from my front row center seat, and for the first time in a long time, I was moved and impressed. Everyone in Nagoya seemed to be well behaved and follow the rules. The merchandise section was too far away, so I didn't line up because I wasn't feeling well. Having to attend Janet's concert after taking a break from dialysis due to kidney failure, the merchandise was a dream come true. I couldn't be happier to have you come to Japan again and sing at our concert! ️!! ️ Please come again.

Janet did not disappoint. She brought her A game and was on point. Going back to Shoreline Amphitheater was an awesome feeling and the excitement to see her perform and the energy she brought was everything. This show brought back so many memories from when I first seen her perform @ this same venue back in 1990 for her Rhythm Nation tour. The catalog of hits that was performed was like no other. Every act took you back to a certain Janet Era. Definitely one of the only few performers left that put on a show like no other and give you that live concert experience of seeing an iconic legend perform.

The venue was so unorganized and so much information was confusing with the VIP and fast pass and North island card holders and where to stand and who is let in first. Just allow everyone in! Now as far as the show, Ludacris and Janet Jackson were incredible. Janet definitely left her mark on this industry and is the blueprint of how artists should have a show. It’s not always about the costume changes, stage changes and visuals. She commanded the stage from the second she stepped out there. Looking forward to her next era!

Janet's show was fulfilling on so many levels it's almost hard to explain. She sounded amazing, she looked amazing, she was a total boss. Back in the day, she was such a huge part of that soundtrack of my life. This woman just turned 57 years old (!!). Ms Jackson has her fair share of peers who've stepped back out on stage later in their career, and I've seen a few, either live or through social media. Horrible to say, but too many have embarrassed themselves (Madonna) or sort of dialed it in (Christina Aguilera). Janet somehow managed to move in all the right ways, get a little nasty, and was classy and commanding on that stage for TWO HOURS. She was everything. #musicislife

Janet Jackson is an Epic singer! Please her concert in Houston is another great Epic concert to remember. I saw her SOTW CONCERT 2017 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and she was Epic. Albuquerque was left out of the Together Again Tour 😢 😪. Janet Jackson Please don't forget your Albuquerque and NM area fans😢😢. I would love to see you again after 6 years ago in Albuquerque, New Mexico at Isleta amphitheater thank you for reading this message 🙏.

I went to the Together Again concert to celebrate my 44th Birthday and it was the best concert ever. I've been to many concerts this the best one. Ms. Janet Jackson if you nasty , the very talented Ludacris and the talk to me ( that's my favorite DJ) Dj Infamous were all very very good I danced the entire concert. Thank yall for coming to Houston, Texas. We love yall. I went with my Mom and the concert was jam packed with people from all walks of life and all age group just beautiful. Love see the diversity and unity. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Absolutely AMAZING! It was the first time seeing Janet Jackson and she did not disappoint. My seat in Section 1 were great. The sound system was booming which made the music great to hear. Janet put on a phenomenal performance. Her voice was incredible and her trade mark dancing was on point. The only complaint I have is I wish it lasted longer than an hour and a half. I could not get enough of this iconic entertainer.

The concert was fantastic. The PNC Pavillion is horrible. We missed some of the show because of a 2.5 HOUR backup. Large shows like Janet Jackson and Rod Stewart last year, shouldn't be held at this venue until more police officers are directing traffic and more access entry/exit points are added. One way in and out after paying $$$ for tix and parking is inexcusable.

With a very scaled down set and hidden band you had to focus on her and the dancers and Janet did not disappoint. She went through decades of her music from the really popular to the more obscure and favorite secret gems of her most dedicated fans. She was giving the energy of a woman at least 20 years her junior. Janet killed, and I was happy to be dead. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💙💙❤️❤️❤️

Janet was absolutely as phenomenal as I thought she would be. She was on time and gave us energetic choreography and LIVE VOCALS! She did so many medleys but Im a tad disappointed she didnt do "Go deep"😌. We'd have been there all night if she did all her hits though 😅 I'm so glad I got to have this experience 🙌🏾 WE LOVE YOU JANET! ❤️

Absolutely 💯 loved the show! I am a janet fan to ❤ heart and all my friends and family knows it. They were posting and texting saying they knew I was at the concert and YES I was with really good seats. I sat in tears because I couldn't believe that the person I love so much I was watching in person. The show was good from beginning to end. I'd been through so much heartbreak with losing 2 brothers weeks apart the end of last year and been very depressed and seeing Janet gave me the motivation I needed. I'm still on my Janet high. She's an inspiration to all
and beautiful 😍 ♥ as ever. Janet thank you for a wonderful concert that I won't forget. I love you and adore you and wish you God's speed in all that you do. Next time maybe I'll get to meet you. #1 fan

We enjoyed being there at her concert with the opening act, Ludacris. This was our first concert seeing them, and we had a blast. It was an early birthday present to me; my birthday is on May 24. Seeing Janet was a treat, and I wasn't sure if I was going to see her again or if she was going to have another tour. Also, I had purchased online a concert shirt of Janet, which they weren't selling at the Hardrock. I had several people asking where did I get my shirt from, and they wanted one too.
Thank you, Janet and Ludacris. Well worth the wait.

Janet Jackson: 4/25/23 “The Queen Of Pop herself or Ms. Janet (if you’re nasty) made her way to Colonial Life Arena in Columbia Tuesday for her 5th show of a 33 date tour. Wedged between dates in Birmingham and Atlanta the ‘Together Again’ tour (her 10th major tour) got her back on the road after Covid had caused her to cancel the Black Diamond World Tour back in 2020. Enthusiastic to finally see her for the first time I scored some good and reasonably priced lower bowl seats just behind the soundboard in December on the presale. To say that the 10th and youngest of the Jackson family comes with a musical legacy is simply an understatement. The 3rd greatest female all time and the ninth most successful act in rock and roll history according to Billboard charts is also the second most successful female artist in pop music history. With 11 studio albums (’82-’15) and 50 charted singles including 15 #1’s the evening was guaranteed to be fueled with plenty of hits. Upon arrival the stage was virtually concealed by a curtain until show time which would later come to reveal a rather simple set up. Far left were a platformed DJ station, guitar, and keyboards and far right a platformed drum kit (with JANET in pink on the drumhead), percussion and bass. At 7:35, 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time, DJ Infamous took the stage bringing the sold out crowd to their feet in anticipation of Janet’s opener Ludacris. With three giant video screens displaying the fiery logo ‘DTP’ for his record label ‘Disturbing The Peace’ a front the main performer’s stage length curtain, Christopher Brian Bridges ‘Ludacris’ got the night underway with a 45 minute set. The 45 year old American rapper from Champaign IL and former DJ at Atlanta's Hot 97.5 came into town with a lot of ‘E’s’ for energy, and equally for ‘expletives’ just as expected. He drew from a catalog of 8 studio albums (all in the 2000’s) with 34 charted singles and 4 #1’s. Chris worked the crowd, ‘I can already tell up-top is the livest side of the whole crowd, or maybe it’s everybody on the bottom row. What’s going on this side? Let’s take ‘em back to Atlanta Georgia DJ DTP, what do we do?’ With his DJ majorly hidden behind the left video screen Ludacris put on a show himself sporting GIANT Nike Air Force 1’s during the #1 ’Stand Up’ and at another point in the performance putting on a set of giant muscular arms to the muse of the crowd. There was the #1 ‘Money Maker’, along with ‘Welcome To Atlanta’ and plenty of ‘Are y’all ready to start the show’ shout-outs in between songs. He called out the local three digit codes for his 2001 #7 ‘Area Codes’, ‘It’s been a minute since I’ve been here, it’s a lot of 864’s and 843’s and ah 803’s in here tonight. Where the hell are my 803’s, make some noise.’ Ending the set a brief intermission bided the time, brief being the operative word as Jackson’s set was already prepared and the opener’s equipment needed only to be removed. At 8:47 the lights went down to the sounds of ‘Love Me’ as a photo slideshow of Janet’s life and career ’50 YEARS OF ME’ was broadcasted on the big screen culminating with a photo collage of her fans and a big ‘I LOVE YOU’ written in large letters. The curtain enfolded center inward and the 56 year old mother of one took the stage for a 1:45 hr / 40 song set beginning with ’04’s ‘Damita Jo’. The show separated into ‘Acts I, II, III, and IV had commenced! Jackson emerged in an all purple hooded cape on a circular mini-stage with video screens left and right and two dancers a top a platform above her also arrayed in purple. Next she exited a door in the rear while two additional dancers entered onstage below the platform —entering back in the entertainer showed up with her first wardrobe change, a gold shimmering body suit, gold knee high boots with a giant purple ribboned bow across her waist. Her custom look from designer Valentino and Christian Louboutin was the first of four wardrobe changes, one for each act. Rolling through eight songs non-stop the four dancers matched her in perfect choreography, the band being still hidden behind five moving video screens —up and down and side to side. The concert moved fast paced with pauses only during act changes each featuring laser shows with background sounds during the downtime. Enter Act 2 which included all six number ones from the ’86 breakthrough 10 million selling ‘Control’ album Anyone who has heard the all familiar ‘Control is just an illusion’ needs to know that although true, Janet Damita Jo Jackson may just be the exception! There was ‘What Have You Done For Me Lately’ with green and blue lasers and ‘Nasty’ where the same four dancers which performed all evening long came out wearing white jumpsuits and caps covering their faces up to their eyes with a diagonal black strip over their eyes to match her black and white top. Next was ‘The Pleasure Principle’ and ‘Because Of Love’ which was last performed LIVE back in 1995. She addressed the audience, ‘You remember this one, my first number one, I was just a baby’ and broke into a minute and forty-five second rendition of ‘When I Think of You’ transitioning into Herb Alpert’s ‘Diamonds’. Her transitions were the key in how she was able to skillfully place 40 songs in an 1:45 hour set. For ‘Control’ there were a set of white chairs placed center stage which the dancers used for props. A circular light rigging a top the stage raised, lowered and pivoted behind the singer for the balance of the act as she continued her classics such a ‘Let’s Wait Awhile’ performed as she sat on the stage singing under a triangle of pink and red laser light. During ‘I Get Lonely’ the now shirtless male dancers slid down poles from the upper platform for some of the evening’s most seductive moves. Enter Act 3 where the full band was finally revealed with a backdrop of six illuminated industrial rotating fans (3 on each side). Four larger boxes were positioned a front the band for the dancers as J.J. dressed in all pink revealed her best dance moves particularly during 2006’s ‘Do It 2 Me’. Her dancers were now wearing half orange/ half pink jackets with multi-colored plaid knee high trousers and white leggings underneath. In Act 4 Jackson came out in all black with a ‘Rhythm Nation’ shirt, the song itself being the highlight of the Act along with Michael Jackson’s ‘Scream’ where she sang along to video clips of the pop icon himself! As the evening wound to a close ’Together Again’ was the encore with Jackson leading a clap along, ‘How you guys doing?, come on, everyone clap, sing!’ Janet who carried herself with few words all evening long ended in a close of verbal appreciation to her fans, ‘Thank you so much, I hope you enjoyed the show …I love you so much… goodnight, thank you, I love you South Carolina, I love you so much, God bless, good night!’ Some haters gonna hate as social media posts have criticized the tour, particularly the aging performers dance moves and wardrobe, but the consensus I heard round about the arena rang true in a unanimous ‘She’s still got it!’ and I agree. Oh and by the way, a must be said, there were NO wardrobe malfunctions in Columbia South Carolina Tuesday evening!” Review and photo by DAve (Concert #771)

I had the pleasure of experiencing @janetjackson’s #Metamorphosis Las Vegas Residency on Wednesday, 7/24. #JanetJackson wore me out! Give her her things. JANET is the Greatest Entertainer Ever. PERIOD. Argue with a mirror. I was out of my seat for the duration of the show and the hits kept coming and coming and coming. This was an awesomely crafted show. Song selections (perfect). Light design (eye-popping), set design (innovative), sound (crisp), band (funky) and those dern dancers have got to be the THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS! Top notch! I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the show from start to finish. Janet was, has been and will always be THE ONE, THAT ONE! I’m so happy for and proud of her. After all this time, she continues to raise the bar and her creativity and passion for performing is unmatched. I’ve been riding with Janet since “Say You Do” and this car isn’t running out of gas any time soon. Thank you Janet for years of excellency and consistency. #metamorphosisvegas

At 51 one years young, Janet, Miss Jackson if you're nasty (cliché I know) still knows how to command a crowd. She knows how to whip them in a frenzy with a fierce gesture, make them whoop and holler with a legendary pause on beat mid performance, make them emotional with dramatic staging, and then make them feel light-hearted when it's all said and done. She is still able to deliver the angelic vocals, swift athletic choreography from her innovative music videos, and exude the stage presence of a diva and a wide eye newcomer concurrently: it's what we have loved about her since her breakthrough in 1986 (one year before I was even born). If you have not done yourself the justice of buying a ticket you are missing out on some of the best entertainment you'll get this lifetime.

It was alright. It wasn't as lit as i thought it would be (bc i went by myself) and she didnt sang 2 songs that i was waiting for especially scream bc she sang it in her shows and not when she came here i was like :(((((((( i still liked it though. She was wearing black clothes and i could barely see her. Her choreographers were wearing white clothes and the lights were too bright and my view was really tiny

Ethereal presence. Incomparable aura. There aren't enough words to describe how awesome Janet Jackson is as a performer. The only bad thing I have to say about the concert was that it wasn't long enough. Two hours didn't do her justice; but, alas, even the greats must rest. I would love to see her live again. And I'm hoping there'll be a concert DVD.

I love Janet! She did her thing and respectfully let the youngLoves dance their butts off! IParticularly loved the normalLooking dancer (larger sized) and as she called them "the babies"! Great show, lots of energy but would have love to hear her salute her brother! We mourned with her and I could feel her thinking about him! I will always remember meeting her over 20 years ago at the control music video taping at the met center! Nov 1st Janet Jackson day!!! We love you Janet!
