LUCERO Her successful introduction to TV was on February 19, 1980 in the family show “Alegrias de Mediodia”, which opens its doors to a beautiful, sweet, angelic girl accompanied by her guitar performing the beautiful theme. Since then the public decided to make her their favorite artist. This is how she began her 33 years and counting performance career. She has starred in some of the most successful programs on the Spanish Broadcasting Networks in Mexico and many countries. With over 27 million albums sold, nine soap operas that have reached millions of fans across the world, movies that been released in various Latin markets, and thousands of musical presentations including TV, concerts, hosting and acting. For 15 years she has hosted the most important charity in Latin America, ‘Teleton Mexico’ as well as carrying out duties as their official ambassador. In 2012 she began with ‘Teleton USA’ in the US Hispanics Market and continues to be involved with various international events and TV programs. LUCERO holds numerous #1 ratings in Mexico and various countries. She is the only artist to consecutively achieve the 1st place ratings in the USA. LUCERO began her career with children’s music and as a pop performer, from a teenager singing pop music and later expanding her musical heritage to mariachi and bolero.
