M O O N S

M O O N S is the one-man-band project of brazilian musician André Travassos. After six years heading Câmera, an indie rock band responsible for one of the releases of 2014 in Brazil, André decided to dedicate time and effort in a brand new project, which flirts with ageless folk, space rock and some pinches of brazilian music. With the production of Leonardo Marques and the collaboration of many musicians of the new generation of brazilian music, M O O N S debut album Songs of Wood & Fire (La Femme qui Roule, 2016) is an invitation to ride, weightless, through the mountains of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Through the unknown paths of imagination, where soul meets the body and beginning meets the end. The sound tastes wood and burns like coal in a bonfire.
