Michael Jackin'

Michael Jackin’, is an upcoming talent in the Belgian Tekstyle scene. His music is best described as young, energetic and full of crazy bounciness! Born in 1989, and living in a small village just next to the Dutch border Michael rolled into the jump and tekstyle scene by going out in Belgian clubs such as The-Stars, Complex and Cherry Moon. After a few years he kept asking himself how it was possible that one single person could make the whole club go crazy and decided to find it out for himself. After getting in contact with the DJ Virus, he quickly became passionate about the profession, and in no time he bought his first Technics vinyl records. Together with Stijn Luyckx, Michael started out his DJ’ing career performing as Donny & Clyde. As a duo they focused their sets mainly on the older classics. After a while they got invited to play at some smaller parties. After a few years of intensive and hard work, they finally got the chance to play at bigger parties and clubs in Belgium, such as The Qontinent, Illusion, Highstreet, Complex, Cherry Moon, Sotto’s, Impact!, Beats Deluxe, etc. In April 2012, Michael decided to head into a new direction by also starting to spin solo under the name Michael Jackin’. His solo career got a big boost a few months later with the track ‘B.O.O.T.Y.’ which was supported by big artists and close friends Davoodi and Bestien. This was also Michael’s first release on the Crunk’D Records label. Not long after that another smashing hit was created: ‘I’m Loco’, which was a real dancefloor filler and reached the number 1 rank on the hardstyle.com jump tracklist! Working on several tracks and collabs, you can expect a lot of new bashing tracks of Michael Jackin’ in the future!
