At no fault of the bands playing, there were apparently some issues setting up the lighting and whatnot beforehand. This caused the doors, supposed to open at 6pm, to not open for another hour which left a half mile of people standing in line in the cold. There were also a few sound issues that actually caused the band Winger to stop playing mid-song to address the issues. Other than that, everything was great! Our seats were as far from the stage as possible but STILL very good visibility and sound. The bands were great! Thank you for coming to Johnson City!

Overall, it was a great show. I didn't enjoy Molly Hatchet. Zero original members, and they just didn't have the right chemistry with the music. I'm not a fan to begin with, but I've had live shows where I became a fan. That was not the case here. Lita Ford was really good. I saw her back in the 80's, and while she isn't quite as much of a live wire now as she was then, man she still sounds GREAT. I would have preferred to see a better selection of songs, missed hearing stuff like "Falling In and Out of Love", "Back to the Cave" and "Shot of Poison". However . . . Halfway through her set, she brought on Dee Snider. He freaking KILLED IT. I was never a huge TS fan, but man, having seen him I would go to a TS show now. He far exceeded all expectations I had, and made Lita and the band look fantastic for bringing him out. Winger was, as usual, excellent. I've seen them a number of times. I will say that Kip wasn't at his best. You could hear him budgeting his performance. And honestly, that's totally understandable. At his age, with the material he's trying to do and the schedule. I get it. Obviously, would go see them again any time. This was my first time seeing Warrant without Jani Lane. Robert Mason is different. A little more grit and edge to his voice than Jani had, but he did a credible job with the catalog. With Warrant, my one wish is that they had take a couple songs off Rockaholic. It would really give him a chance to show himself for what he is. I would go see this version of Warrant again any time. Now, some criticism. The venue was very nice in the arena. Clean, great seating . . . an excellent place for a show. Doors were supposed to open at six, show at seven. Doors didn't open until nearly 7, and the show started closer to 8. Hey Freedom Hall! Even if things had come off on time, the show wouldn't have ended until 11:30. It ended at nearly 1AM. Your audience is in their 50's man. Start earlier and be on time!

Amazing show. All of the bands were great, but I had to deduct a half star because Molly Hatchet, the opening act, had no energy in their performance. Warrant, was, of course, amazing, as was Winger, Lita Ford, and Dee Snider(someone seriously needs to bottle his energy and sell it). There was a funny moment where the lead singer for Warrant pointed out a drunk man dancing down in the floor seats. Nice touch, dealing with a heckler with a sense of humor. If you are on the fence about buying tickets to any of their shows, just do it. Warrant does not disappoint.

About Warrant

Warrant Bio 2023
Warrant is a rock band that originated from Hollywood, California, in the United States. The band was formed in 1984 by bassist Jerry Dixon and guitarist Erik Turner. They recruited vocalist Adam Shore, drummer Max Asher, and guitarist Josh Lewis to complete the original lineup. However, the band went through a series of lineup changes before settling on the classic lineup, which consisted of lead vocalist Jani Lane, guitarist Joey Allen, drummer Steven Sweet, bassist Jerry Dixon, and guitarist Erik Turner.
Warrant's debut album, "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich," was released in 1989 and was a massive success, reaching number ten on the Billboard 200 chart. The album included hit singles such as "Down Boys," "Sometimes She Cries," and "Heaven." The success of their first album paved the way for their second album, "Cherry Pie," which was released in 1990. The title track, "Cherry Pie," became the band's biggest hit, reaching number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The band continued to release successful albums throughout the 1990s, including "Dog Eat Dog" and "Ultraphobic." They went on tour with other successful rock bands of the time, such as Poison and Van Halen. However, in the late 1990s, the band's popularity began to decline, and they went through a series of lineup changes, with Jani Lane leaving and returning to the band multiple times.
Despite their ups and downs, Warrant has remained a popular band among fans of the glam metal genre. They continue to tour and release new music to this day, with their latest album, "Louder Harder Faster," released in 2017. The band's enduring legacy and their contribution to the rock music scene of the 1980s and 1990s make them a beloved band to this day.

WARRANT has been headlining festivals, casinos and fairs all over the country in support of their latest CD Louder Harder Faster. The band is fired up and tighter than every musically! These rockers can’t wait to play not only ALL the hits fans know & love, but also new tunes/videos like “Louder Harder Faster” & “I Think I Will Just Stay Here & Drink.”
