Born Of Ruin

Formed from the ashes of Anterior and Tydus Falls, Born Of Ruin is a new death metal band with a cutting adrenaline edge. Finding each other through their passion for technical and brutal music, this is no strings attached and no holding back, simply, pure metal! The band started in early March of 2012 after an initial writing session between them, taking influences from current heavyweights such as Despised Icon and The Black Dahlia Murder to classic acts who helped mold the genre such as Carcass and At The Gates. After the Anterior split, many people were left on the bands social networking sites asking what the members where now going to do. James Britton and James Cook answered immediately by releasing news of Born Of Ruin and releasing the facebook page shortly after. The band flew into writing mode and ideas started to flow very abruptly. One of the first demo songs the band self recorded, titled “Aura Of The Entity”, was released via their official Youtube and came up with very positive reviews from press and fans alike and clocked up a fairly impressive 1,000 views in just two weeks. Shortly after the second demo single for “Zodiark” followed and gained the band even more interest and hits across their ever growing social networking sites. The band has since released their newest and most brutal single, "Fictitious Gods" on their official soundcloud account and has received vast positivity across the board. Continuing to write and push the boundaries of modern death metal the band are defining their shape and sound and have already laid waste to their debut sold out show with roster mates Dishonour The Crown and Chapters. 2013 looks to be the year of Ruin!
