DJ FUMO

DJ FUMO was born in Firenze, Italy and raised in Tokyo, Japan. He has been DJing since 2006. FUMO has a distinctive, funky sound that combines years of technical scratching and beat juggling mashed with a strong knowledge of dancefloor anthems. After studying Audio Engineering in Toronto, Canada, FUMO moved to Italy and began a year-long residency in Firenze's most prominent nightclub, Space Club. FUMO has opened for international acts such as Big Fish, DJ Kayper, Fat Joe, Lady Coco, Lloyd Banks and Wale as well as Italian artists Amir, Bassi Maestro, Mondo Marcio, Nesli and Two Fingerz. In 2011 FUMO relocated to the Florida, embarking on a new journey that resulted in residencies in Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Tallahassee, and on the Emerald Coast. A recent partnership in 2013 has seen DJ FUMO join forces with DJ Tech Pro, an up and coming manufacturer of DJ equipment from Hong Kong. DJ FUMO has since performed at NAMM in Los Angeles along acts such as DJ JesC, DJ Mark Luv and DJ Q-Bert. Fall 2013 has seen FUMO inking a sponsorship with sneaker company "ROOS x Shane + Shawn", and embarking on his first North American tour with Floridian Hip Hop artists "Big Lo" and "Inferno", as their official DJ on the "Survival of the Lifted Tour".
