Artikal Sound System
Artikal Sound System is a reggae band based out of South Florida. Founded by Chris Montague (guitar) and Fabian Acuña (bass) in 2012, the band honed their chops backing a series of Caribbean singers. Along the way the boys picked up the insane and absurd keys player Christopher Cope and the heavy footed drummer Adam Kampf before finally trying something a little sonically different with their neighbor, female vocalist Logan Rex. After nearly a decade of playing together the boys sound tight and powerful, creating the perfect foundation for their jazz-influenced singer to dance around on lyrically and literally. What you hear is the sound of friendship, hard work, imagination and the hope to spread their message of love and the importance of having a good time.

Artikal Sound System

Artikal was Amazing!! It was good to see them headline. Very down to earth bunch of people. I talked to everyone in the band minus Logan, it wasn’t because she wasn’t available to interact with fans…. She was kinda swarmed be the crowd in St Paul. Maybe next time Logan, boys, you were awesome.

I had planned to go see Artikle sound system for months My sister was gonna go with me. All my life I know my sister is late for everything.She actually got to my mother's Early that day to spend time with the kids and so we could also leave early.She wanted to eat And asked me if I wanted anything I said no we don't have time. She said well I'm gonna order pizza.Okay well how long do you think you'll be?I'll get there when I'm done eating We got toListen to a whole band play. A whole Band I was not interested in.Come to find out that we missed artikal sound system Which I knew it would happen.I'm sure it was a wonderful show and I would have loved itand enjoyed every minute of it. I really wanted to be there. 😞
