About Fine Before You Came

fine before you came started playing as a band at the beginning of 2000. After few months they record a demotape and start playing all around Italy. In July 2001 Greenrecords (www.greenrecords.net), releases Cultivation of ease. This gives to the band the chance to intensify the live shows. In April 2002 Heartfelt (www.heartfelt.it) puts out 2 new FBYC songs on a Untited SplitCD with Mrs.Fletcher. Thanks to a good distribution abroad, FBYC get to tour Europe two times. In 2003 Greenrecords releases It all started in Malibù. The german record label Strange fruit (www.strangefruit.de) releases the vinyl version of the album. FBYC tour for a month in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, UK to promote the new record. In 2004 the band is basically focused on the writing sessions for the new full lenght. In the meanwhile, the Japanese label Oto records (otorecords.at.infoseek.co.jp) contact the band and put out the first two cds in a single box in Japan. In 2005 a bunch of friends released a split cd with the band as a commodore, our friends and great people. The new album called "fine before you came" will be out in february 2006. It will be out with a dvd containing the short movie "I was fine before you came" by the video artist antonio rovaldi, inspired by the concept of the album.
