About Devilkin Assailant

Devilkin Assailant started out with just the drummer and the bassist... End of Summer 2010, Nacho and Squid had the band name as Rebel Headz, they never practiced because they weren't too serious about it, then Nacho went to his freshman year in high school and started hanging with Chris, who was a middle school classmate but they never liked each other ntil freshman year when they each had no one to really hang out with in high school, Chris had already started a band with one of his classmates from school but they only really heard each other over the phone, so when i told chris that i was starting a band, he said fuck it, quit his band with his buddy and asked if he could join, and Nacho said of course, and Nacho went over to Chris's to see how he played and it was amazing, They wanted to start practicing right away but Squid still wasnt too serious about it so he wouldnt show up to practice, and Nacho didn't have a drum set, he used to plug in his Guitar Hero Drumm set to the TV and use the music creator on the game in order to hear the drums... for like a whole month they had practice like that and we wrote one song called "Let Me Out". By then Chris had already convinced us to change the name to Fatal Mentality. After Nacho got his drum set, they started to seriously practice but only one song got done, for a very long time... Nacho was still Barely learning how to play, then the end of the school year came and they never practiced anymore, once maybe two weeks, During that summer Nacho and Chris lost contact for a little and they practiced halfway through summer and Squid never went, so it was almost a year and only one song got done. Then it was the next school year, Chris and Nacho were Sophomores and Squid was a Freshman. They practiced once or twice didnt really get anything done. The band was almost over, and they had a practice in September and that whole weekend got nothing done. After that weekend Squid quit and it was just Nacho and Chris but they didnt get anything done so they didnt practice for a little and then when they were going to bring Squid back, he got in trouble and had to basically whether he liked it or not. So Nacho and Chris said they were going to get stuff done for Thanksgiving Vacation, in between that time, the band got another Guitarist, and a new bassist. That didn't stay too long. Then Thanksgiving Break came and Nacho and Chris got down and wrote Twisted Mind, and they practiced and practiced, then they got Rob as their singer and started to have more practices, and by Christmas Break they had Twisted Mind done and during that break they got more songs done, and changed the name to DEVILKIN ASSAILANT. After that around February we had to stop practicing at Chris's house and we started Practicing at his aunts and by then we had Tim as a rhythm Guitar, but he only stayed for like 3 months, and Squid was finally back in the band and they had like a 15 minute set. One night, Chris and Nacho were jamming at like 11 pm on a Friday, and some huge dude opens the garage door, they got scared thinking it was the cops but it wasn't, luckily, it was 4 dudes that play in the band Don't Tell Her That!!! They loved our music and offered us to play a show at the Starline... so April 14th was Devilkin Assailant's First show and then got their own Studio and it's been really good ever since, playing shows all around Fresno and Someday, Hopefully, all around the world!!!! The Band now consists of four members, Rob as Vocals, Chris as Lead Guitar, Squid on Bass, and Nacho on Drums. WE ARE THE QUOTIENT OF HEAVY METAL.
