Story of the Year

Story of the year was fantastic. I did the meet and greet and while they were uninterested team hoisting me over their heads as if I were a majestic eagle, they were kind and fun and signed a boatload of loot for my GF, my son and I. They even signed my questionably odored shoe. They sound great live, better than on the album, they go hard, have high energy and great crowd interactions. Would recommend, 6/5 star wars podcast points.

All bands were great, and especially SOTY whom I was there to see mainly. Realised they're a band I actually quietly love a lot, and seeing them live made me very happy. Yellowcard were fine too I guess lol

When you've been waiting 18 years to see a band you have been listening to since you were a teen, you know it'll be one of the best shows you've ever attended...and Story of the Year delivered!!! From start to end, the crowd was wild for SOTY as well as Behind Crimson Eyes and Senses Fail. The venue was also a perfect choice considering many rock bands of the 2000 - 2010 era would play their first Sydney gig. Definitely a night to remember for me!

The concert was incredible!! I bought the VIP Meet&Greet, and unfortunately, I just missed it by the time I got to the venue. The young lady who was checking VIPs wasn't that helpful. At the end of the night, I found out some of the other staff that worked House Of Blues were looking for me after the first person told me to come back at 6. Smh. But it was still a fantastic night!

Loved the show!! They really gave it their all and it was epic as ever. Was blown away by there yellowcard, the used and more mashup. Such a great set!!! The platforms were the best touch and helped the people in the back really see SOTY. The merch was expensive $50 for a t-shirt!! Wish they had tap at the merch table. I was hoping for stickers, patches or buttons. The guys looked amazing and played incredibly.. just wow!!!

Amazing! I’ve been listening to them since the early 2000s but this was the first time I ever saw them live. It was a special treasure that they were preforming Page Avenue as this album means a lot to me. Union Transfer was a really nice venue!

One of the best shows I’ve ever been to. I grew up listening to Story of the Year so the nostalgic value was through the roof. They sounded great and the venue was perfect. Hoping to catch them on the next tour.

Such an amazing VIP experience! I highly recommend buying VIP with SOTY if you can. They are such nice guys. The venue was wonderful and the set was amazing. I have been listening to SOTY for 20 years and can’t wait to see them again. They played Page Avenue and some newer songs- they always kick ass 🎶

Amazing from start to finish! Youth Foundation is the newest band on the bill but they played liked a veteran pop-punk post-hardcore band that has been doing this for a decade already. Four Years Strong was loud and in your face as always, but it never stopped you from wanting more. Seeing Page Avenue in its entirety, with a sprinkle of their new album was a mid-30’s wet dream. Story of the Year played their songs like it was 2004 and had a fun tribute to the time period during their encore. If you still have a chance to see this tour, DO NOY HESITATE TO GO!!!

Great show from SOTY. Sounded close to album quality. The guitars on FYS were way too muddy and the vocals made it hard to even hear which song they were playing. Youth fountain was good but the mix was so loud you couldn’t actually hear any of the music. Bummer that the opening acts didn’t get god sound engineering for the venue to be depicted well.

The band was amazing. The music was great. The Paper Tiger was great. The some of the people at the show were terrible. Towards the end of the show tall, fat couples started pushing their way to the stage trampling (shorter) concert-goers that had been near the front of the stage the whole night. Fat, dumb, idiot couples.

We went to a Yellowcard concert not knowing that story of the year would be there… Holy Smokes that was a great surprise. Awesome night, awesome ennergy. Definitely looking forward to seeing them again.

Story of the year was great... mayday parade not so much... and then yellowcard was okay. But I don't think it's necessarily on them.. I just think I'm not as into that genre anymore. Definitely not a rock concert for sure, should've drove to Tampa for Mudvayne.

This was an amazing concert. They were playing with Yellowcard and both band’s debut albums were 20 years old! Both have “Avenue” in the title too. I grew up with these guys and it was my first time seeing them. I was always so broke as a kid it’s nice to be able to see these bands that have made such an impact on me. They played mostly stuff from Page Avenue which was amazing. They rocked! I will always be a SOTY fan! Long live the early 2000’s rock!

Unreal. Seriously blown away, I’ve been a massive fan for years and never had an opportunity to see them and last night gave me so much hope that these wild dudes are far from done. Also the bassist standing over me during the throwback mashup was hilarious and badass. Keep up the great work lads!

the whole night was insane and awesome but story of the Year please come back to Nashville Tennessee and bring as many as old bands as you can I really appreciate when y'all did the tree view about all the other bands where y'all were singing different people songs in that last song y'all all did was amazing

Best show with the best band. It rained but what is rain to a Floridian? My first time seeing my favorite band, it blew my mind hearing them open with And the Hero Will Drown as it was the first song of their’s that I heard all those years ago as a high schooler when I picked up Need for Speed Underground.

Opened with And the Hero Will Drown! What more could you want from Story of the Year. They pushed new album Wolves fairly hard which seems a really good album and songs from Page Avenue were littered here and there. They surprised us by ending with kind of a medley of cover songs by artists including Taking Back Sunday and My Chemical Romance which was very reminiscent of the noughties emo phase. An excellent show from these guys so don’t leave it 10 years before you come back to the UK again!

It was amazing. Brought me to tears. This band has been a huge influence and a bit of a life saver, so getting to finally see them live was a dream come true. I just hope to see a headline show from them over here soon

Waited 14 years to see them and they were everything that I hoped they would be! Still doing backflips, played an equal amount new stuff and old stuff! Can’t wait to see them again! Only down side was the opening bands.
