Kanglosta

Kanglosta was born Carlos Flucker on September 3, 1987 in Detroit, MI to Kay and Louis Flucker. After his parent’s separation, his mother preached hard work and determination, setting him up for his current success. In his early childhood years he attended John R. King Elementary and later David Ellis Academy, both on Detroit’s Westside. Next, he attended Mumford High School where he developed a general respect for music and love for rap. Now, Kanglosta has found versatility, character, and a name for himself. His style as an artist is to paint the experiences he’s had onto the canvas of produced hip-hop tracks. Along the way he has stayed in contact with his childhood friends to form “The Academy”. The Academy is an independent camp known for their elite taste in music, fashion and other ventures and genres. After his 2009 release The Academy Presents Kanglosta, he now releases his new single titled “Celebration of Life” Produced by The Academy’s own Adrian “A.Will” Williams. “The track iilustrates the culmination of several hard years of work for kanglosta”. ” It’s a feel good song” says Kanglosta. “ I feel that’s the track seeks to connect with listeners on the basis of celebration and the joy of living”. #DTownToTheWorld
