About Ronnie Raygun & the Big 80's
Even though Denver has its share of Eighties Tribute bands, Ronnie Raygun is the only one to sport the wildest costumes.
This is something they started in 1998 when they rolled into Denver as Boogie Machine, The Super 70's Disco Dynamo. The giant afros, bell-bottoms and platform shoes were something to behold as people craned their necks to get another look.
In 2001, Ronnie Raygun carried on the tradition of big, out-of-this-world wigs with a full complement of spandex, fingerless gloves, Vans and Wayfarer sunglasses.
Totally bitchin' retro dude! This ain't no disco. this ain't no foolin' around.
Giant sticky hair abounds and the New Wave beat throbs in your cranium, direct from the time when music and fashion were larger than life. Feel free to cruise on up to that wave and say, "Hey bud, let's party!"
