Bryan Piccari – Guitar / Vocals Born in Pittsburgh, PA Bryan Piccari began playing in bands at the age of 17. In the 80's he was the frontman/guitarist for one of Northeast Ohio's legendary bands, HBB, and later had a half decade run with another local favorite, Excalibur. These bands were staples on the rock club circuit and performed with many of the area's biggest name artists including Trent Reznor (NIN), Joe Grushecky (Iron City Houserockers), and members of Cleveland's Michael Stanley Band. Most recently, Bryan has fronted Radio Crime which has played over 300 shows and many of the Bay area’s premier events. Bryan plays Fender & Gibson guitars and is endorsed by Splawn Amplification. Doug Lipps – Bass / Vocals Born in St. Louis, MO Doug Lipps has been playing bass since the age of 14. He has played in numerous Bay area bands from the early 80's to present, most notably Diamond Gray, Southern Snow, The Snow, Louie Bluestone, King Nasty and Freddy and the Freeloaderz, and Cheeky Monkey. Doug has toured the East Coast from Key West to Manhattan. He has recorded in various studios such as, Chung King Studios-Manhattan NY, Crawford Studios- Princeton NJ, Panda Studios- Clearwater FL, and Labyrinth Studios- Clearwater Fla. He was nominated twice for best Bass Player at the Tampa Bay Music Awards. Doug plays a four string Nova Bass, a five string Music Man Bass, and a five string fretless Ibanez Bass Guitar through Gallien – Krueger Amplification. Eddie Rice – Lead Guitar Born in Los Angeles, Ca Eddie Rice started his musical career 1985 in Tampa, Florida. He recorded his 1st album at the age of 21 after auditioning for Roadrunner recording artist Powersurge, and being chosen to complete the lineup. Best known for his solo work on the bands single hit “Wall of Power”, which aired on MTV in 1986. He is best known for his melodic solos in “Tear up the Pavement”, and writing Stress Attack and Burning Revenge,” two songs that would later reach major success in Europe. Most recently, a founding member of Tampa Bay's Radio Crime, which has played many of the area’s premier events over the past 6 years . Eddie plays Marshall Amplification, Gibson and Charvel guitars exclusively. In 1984, James Marra, Todd Dyer, Rudy Goryance, and Will Palmer formed the metal band AndzVolt. Palmer was later replaced by 2 guitarists, Todd Boese and Charlie Cook. After 2 years of touring they replaced Cook for guitarist Eddie Rice, and Goryance for drummer Hal Loo and changed the band's name to Powersurge. Later that year, Powersurge released the demo Elements of Metal, bringing the band to the attention of Roadrunner Records. Loo left the band, and Goryance returned to play drums. In 1991, Powersurge released their debut album, MCMXCI. Shortly afterwards, Marra and Boese left, and the band split up. However, between 1986 - 1990 the band had recorded 38 original songs. This material was remixed and came out in 4 releases: two on O.P.M. Records in 2000 and 2003, and two on Battle Cry Records in 2006 Rudy Goryance -- Drums Born in Tampa, FL Rudy Goryance is one of the legendary drummers from the Bay area and is most noted for his work with Powersurge, one of the area's most successful touring metal bands in the late 80's and early 90’s. Having recorded 6 albums, toured both Europe and the US, he was an integral part of the band's success and a crowd favorite worldwide. Noted for his fast feet and hands, there is not much he can't do. After being sidelined due to a serious injury, Rudy is back and happy to rocking beside his old guitarist, Eddie Rice.
