The Great Julius

Jonathan Vah otherwise known as "The Great Julius” was born on November 12th in Staten Island, New York. When he was just 2 years old, his mother passed away. This was hard for a young child. His father then, worked for the U.S. Embassy. They moved to Crystal, Minnesota when he was 10, and then proceeded to move many times between Brooklyn Park, Fridley and Coon Rapids. In high school Jonathan was involved in a shooting and was shot, which changed his life forever. Jonathan met his wife at work in 2009 and they were married in 2011. They had a beautiful daughter born on July 3rd 2012. Jonathan's dad passed away in 2014 on his daughters 2nd birthday. Jonathan was always fascinated with music. When he was 17 his father bought him an Acer desktop computer, which he used to learn about music. Some of the more popular kids told him that he would never amount to anything. He was now more determined than ever, so Jonathan went out and bought a microphone and practiced day and night. Jonathan always wanted to produce, so he started Illmatic Records Inc at 17. Jonathan got burned on a partnership for a large sum of money in 2014. Now he is currently signed to his own label. Wishing to bring back 90's music that's lyrical and has meaning. Some of his inspirations are Tupac, Edgar Allen Poe, and Nas.
