But in late 2025, she was struck by a car while walking in her own neighborhood. Left with a broken wrist, broken ribs, and months of canceled shows, she was unable to play guitar or sing without sharp pain. Bombara found herself stripped down to what matters most: the music itself, the gratitude for each day, and the clarity that comes from loss.
