Trenton and Free Radical

Howzit as they say in our land. Welcome to the world of Free Radical. We live in a beautiful place called Cape Town on the Southern tip of Africa and although I grew up in Johannesburg and spent many of my childhood years in Kenya, Nigeria and Bahrain, Cape Town is where I have made my home. I met my guitarist and song writting partner, Marco, while living on an island called England. I managed to persuaded him to move to my crazy land and we have been working together for over 7 years. He is German but grew up in the amazing island of Ibiza, my second spiritual home. Thabo is our bass player and my brother from another mother. Together we also run an entertainment company called Black Mango and a charity called Bridges for Music where we work with music to facilitate education initiatives and help empower disadvantaged youth in South Africa's townships. Then there is Kaya from Langa township, another place very close to my heart and one i spend a lot of time in. Kaya is a spirit from the heavens and our amazing drummer. ...and last but certainly not least is our musical director Matt. A multi-instrumentalist and all round smashing bloke from london town. He makes sure we sound the best we can, always I am blessed to work with such amazing musicians and friends. Together we are "Free Radical". There’s a revolution afoot. A tidal wave of changing attitudes; around the way people think about their world, their responsibility towards the planet!
