Ancestrum

Hailing from Argentina, Ancestrum represents ice cold Pagan Black Metal from the southern lands. A dark journey throughout diabolic hymns and ancestral melodies. Fueled by the devotion to pagan beliefs, founding members Mortem (from Norwegian blackers Infected and Dark Obscenity) and Asteroth (from Funeral Under Moon) started Ancestrum in late 2008. The "Paganstorm" EP was released some short months later, resulting in an outstanding response from both press and fans all around the world. 2010 has been all concentrated around the composition of "Spells By The Northern Winds", released in June 2011 through Misanthropic Spirit Records in Argentina, Colombia, Portugal, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Rusia, USA, Australia and Japan. In 2012 the band contributed with the song "The Stallion" for the Bathory's tribute album, "Odens Ride Over Southernland". In 2015, Ancestrum released, again through MSR, their long awaited second album, "Our Heathen Soil". This new record shows a more epic side on their music. The Pagan Hordes Will Rise!!!
