About IKRONIK

It’s incredible what a little vision, loads of determination, world-class musical skill and a growing fan base can do to make a group of reggae musicians into legitimate stars. Does the name i-Kronik ring a bell? It should…..this is the best performing and most disciplined reggae band to emerge from Jamaica in the last 25 years…bar none. Since their official coming out in October of 2011, i-Kronik has done nothing less than impress reggae fans on the West Coast with their hardcore yet up-to-date sound, style and delivery. Fans, booking agents and members of the press have made it clear that this band is for REAL. “In 2012 jamaican Reggae Band i-Kronik hit North America fast and hard just as Hurricane Sandy did the East coast October 2012, Their music blew down all superficial facades with the depth of their Musical arrangements, The masses enjoyed their sets at Sierra Nevada World Music Fest and Reggae on the River they have proven to be an hard act to fallow - Peter Wardle of (Kings Music International Booking Agency) i-Kronik has learned a lot over the past 12 months on the road and has incorporated the positive aspects as they move to release their first EP and take to the road once again in support. The band understands the need for a growing fan base and is determined to earn fans ten-fold this season. Their EP will include songs that have received favorable feedback such as the rootsy “Clean Heart” featuring Jah Mason; the up-tempo trendsetting “Journey” (through life) and “Girlfriend” for the ladies. This compilation of songs further showcases i-Kronik’s range, versatility and wide ranging appeal and is the real reason why reggae fans of all ages are drawn to this outfit i-Kronik’s live performances showcase the skills of the band members but more importantly highlights the sense of purpose the band brings to entertaining their fans, delivering quality music in a fun and inspiring way and ultimately how they enjoy the experience themselves.
