John Butler

I've seen John like 5 times. This was my favorite show he did. He was scheduled at 8:30. He started at 8:15. He went as long as I would imagine the festival allowed. I didn't see him at Surly, but rather Summerfest. Great show. He jammed the f-out. Love the new summer who is playing bangos or whatever you call them. The keyboardist/bass player is amazing as well. Love the new band.

Saw John Butler w/ his band as an opener for Dispatch. I was unfamiliar, other than turning his stuff on in the background at work in the weeks leading up to the concert. His musicianship is off the charts. He played multiple instruments with such expertise and originality that it was honestly an emotional experience for me. I will be following his career and future tours closely. Would love to see an entire headlining set.

I can’t even say the right words.. better than listening to the recorded studio version and it speaks to the quality of all of these artists!
