Millstone

Millstone is an alternative rock/pop group from Akron, OH. Started in 2012, Millstone has been working on writing and recording their debut album ever since. Formed by Zach Skraba and Adam Jones, Millstone set out to create music that they enjoyed and could be proud to place their name on. Taking their name from the idiom, "A millstone around my neck," they sought to create music that was relatable and emotionally connected. Sharing in the name of the band, the music that has been created is reflective of the burdens of everyday life. Zach and Adam worked closely with Billy Pierce, a longtime friend and former bandmate, in writing the music of Millstone. Combining many influences ranging from mainstream pop to classical, Millstone creates an eclectic sound that is accessible and long lasting. Several years of preparation are coming to a close and Millstone is now finally ready to share what they've created with the world. Millstone is a band based out of the Akron, OH area that combines alt/rock and pop influences to create creative, engaging, and eclectic music.
