KR-3 is an original Psychedelic Jam Rock quartet hailing from Wheeling, West Virginia. A favorite among music festival attendees, the band has quickly garnered a faithful following affectionately called KR-3 family that travels feverishly with the group. They have shared the stage with artists such as Tim Reynolds, The Pimps of Joytime, Larry Keel and Natural Bridge, Rusted Root, Papadosio, The Werks and several others, appearing at major festivals like The Ville Music Festival, Family Roots, Mad Tea Party Jam and Pink Moon Festival.. The band’s "Appalachian Psychedelica" sound is a soul grabbing, mind expanding, psychedelic, funk, and blues inspired jam, mixed with prevailing vocal harmonies. With the powerful and moving lyrics of Tim Boyd over the power and energy this band’s rhythm section puts forth during each live performance leaves audiences yearning for more. KR-3 has appeared at numerous festivals in the past few years and are currently touring, playing at venues throughout the Eastern and Midwestern US.
