IDLE RED

Idle Red is an American rock band from Phoenix, Arizona formed in 2004 for by singer Steve Ayotte. Members also include Rob Elizondo (lead guitar), Taylor Ouellette (bass & vocals), and Tyler "Wyldman" Alcorn (drums). Taking influence from a large range of music both on and off the beaten path that defines today's mainstream rock & roll, Idle Red delivers raw energy in the form of a unique yet distinct sound. Idle Red's sound is a combination of rock groups like Stone Tempe Pilots, Chevelle, Deftones, and Papa Roach; punk rock groups like Rise Against; post-hardcore groups like Thrice, Story Of The Year, and Finch; and every now and again a little southern metal like Maylene & The Sons Of Disaster shines through. Since Forming in 2004 Idle Red has released two EP disks, one LP demo disk, and one full length album. With touring dates in the Fall of 2011 that include most of the Southwest in the US and this summer's Dithmarscher Rock Festival in Marne, Germany, IDLE RED is a band to watch for in 2011.
