Wolf On Fire

Wolf on fire is a hard-rock band from Stavanger, Norway.

THE BAND:
The band was formed in 2011 by the vocalist/guitarist Christian Øvrevik. In a time when the “core" genre had a grip on Stavanger, it proved difficult to find people with the same mindset that the band craved, but time and perseverance paid off. Finally an Icelandic bass player, a bearded man from Haugesund and a hard-hitting dude from Rennesøy appeared themselves - and the lineup was complete. All of them eager to prove that Wolf on fire can give rock and metal something different, something unexpected, something?...you tell us! Each of the band members contributes with influences from a wide array of musical genres which has made the band into what it is today; a dark and catchy Hard-Rock unlike anything else.

DEBUT ALBUM:
Wolf on Fire is beyond stoked to introduce their debut album Echolomania to the world. Get ready for killer combos of riffs and brutality, melancholy and melody all tied together in a veil of stoner rock. It’s even catchy. The text universe draws inspiration from personal experiences, desperations, emotions and inner demons as well as everyday life. The album summarised: dark and catchy.

The album is produced by the band itself with help of some skilled people along the way. The drums were recorded in the Norwegian band Skambankt´s studio, mixing was done by Kristoffer Grude at Black Rhino Music and mastering was performed by the highly regarded Alan Douches at West West Side Studio (Mastodon, Roky Erickson, Kvelertak, Converge, etc).
