Constantine

Constantine was born in 23/09/87.Raised in Athens, Greece he began to play guitar at the age of 12 learning to play by copying songs from his record collection and his favourites bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Judas Priest and Exodus.As a young teenager he soon started to evolve more on his study and approach on the guitar by getting influenced by players like Joe Satriani, Marty Friedman, Michael Romeo, Michael Amott and Zakk Wylde.

Despite the young of his age, time and work has proved that Constantine's flexibility is undoupted on performing in different genres and styles of music or live situations with his bands and his solo work.
Constantine's playing features and ranges from brutal and sledgehammer riffs to soaring solos with memorable twin guitar melodic harmonies,fluid tapping-arpeggio lines,wide vibrato and furious melodic pentatonics.

- NIGHTRAGE (2007) :
At the age of 19 he joined the melodic death metal band Nightrage from Sweden (Century Media, Lifeforce records) in which he replaced guitar hero Gus G. (Ozzy,Firewind) as a session/tour member. He participated with the band at the Mechanical Massacre Tour with Mnemic in 2007 and besides that he also performed with the band at various summer festival shows. He also appears in the music video for the song "Scathing".

- DESCENDING (2007-2012)
Constantine co-formed modern death-thrash metallers Descending in 2007 and has released 2 studio albums ("Enter Annihilation" 2008, "New Death Celebrity" 2011) by Massacre records in Europe and Spiritual Beast records in Japan.

- MYSTIC PROPHECY (2008-2012) :
Constantine was re-cruited by German Power metallers Mystic Prophecy in 2008. He released 2 studio albums with the band ("Fireangel" ,2009 & "Ravenlord", 2011) via Massacre & Spiritual Beast records in Europe & Japan. The band performed though the years of 2008-2011 with bands on tour such as Stratovarius, Rage, Primal Fear and performed also at various festivals like Wacken Open Air, Bang Your Head, Earthshaker, Metalcamp etc.

*Mystic Prophecy's album "Fireangel" was released in May of 2009 and entered the German charts during the first week of it's release at place 77#

SHREDCORE (2010) :
Constantine's solo album entitled "Shredcore" was released in 02/07/10 and it's from 7Hard records (Europe). "Shredcore" contains 9 tracks of exquisite Modern Metal/Rock guitar performance and it's a record for all the lovers of the genre defining the term of melodic guitar shredding. The album received numerous positive feedback and reviews from the Worldwide press.

NIGHTFALL (2010-2013) :
In late 2010 he is also being added to the line-up of the historic dark metal band Nightfall. He released one album with the band ("Cassiopeia", 2013), released via Metal Blade Records in Europe, USA & Japan.

PRIMAL FEAR (2012-2013) : Highlight of Constantine's career is undoubtedly his collaboration with the world-class German power metal pioneers Primal Fear. He joined the band as a session/tour member for the Headline tour "Metal Nation Tour 2012" and summer festivals. He also appears in the music video for the song "Strike" ("Unbreakable tour & festival season - 2012").
