About Kaizen

Band contact: kaizenhq@gmail.com After two demos tremendously welcomed by the specialized metal medias and the french metal audience, Kaizen ,quickly picked up by the big independent french label XIIIbis (Rammstein, Suicidal Tendencies, Loudblast), releases its first album entitled Clear the path. The medias are unanimous and deem them as one of the biggest hope of french metal. Kaizen forges its metal with the union of masterized fury, instrumental discipline, devastating clockwork guitar rhythmics, practicing a extremist metal genre with open-mindness slowly evolving towards. The use of electronics gives the band an add-on of industrial feeling and massivity. The band claims its influences by the side of 90 US power as Pantera or bands such as Sepultura, Fear factory or Meshuggah plus the grind and death metal scene. This is the kind of band who goes straight to the point. Kaizen is already a monster on stage thanks their numerous live performances with SLAYER, MACHINE HEAD, HATEBREED, MASTODON, CHIMAIRA, LAMB OF GOD, CANNIBAL CORPSE, BRUTAL TRUTH, UNEARTH, TYPE O NEGATIVE, IMMORTAL, CHILDREN OF BODOM, BRUJERIA, NAPALM DEATH, DREAM THEATER, CONVERGE, IMMORTAL, NEUROSIS, ATHEIST, MESHUGGAH, OBITUARY, NOSTROMO, GOJIRA, ABORTED, SCARVE, DAGOBA, BLACK BOMB A and many more, in France and abroad. Produced by Alexis Phelipot (MISANTHROPE/NO RETURN/DROWNING/KRISTENDOM), Clear the path is a pure blast of modern metal and the proof Kaizen is a band on which you'll have to count on by now. 2003 is definetely the revelation year for Kaizen. The band is voted as one of the 100 best album released in 2003 by french main metal magazine Hard NHeavy. Clear the path reaches several thousands copies sold in France. In January 2005 the band flew to England to record a brand new album called "Sink" under the helm of Mark Mynett (KILL II THIS, LAMB OF GOD) near Manchester, UK. A new step for the band is reached with a more mature and skillful songwriting. The feedback for this album is really impressive. In February 2005, a new line-up is rising with the integration of skinsman Fabien Rault replacing Laurent Caradec for musical divergences. The band then toured around France and has been invited by several festivals including the famous HELLFEST with SLAYER or MEGADETH on the bill among 80 leading bands of the metal industry. In October 2009, guitarist Julien Maurel decided to leave the band for various reasons. In May 2010, guitarist Clement Delamour, joined the band permanently. The band is currently writing its third album. Facebook fan page of the french metal band KAIZEN
