The Rattling Kind

Bio: After a hectic world tour of Dublin & beyond from the success of their debut EP ‘Rise Up’ including a live performance on RTE’s “The Saturday Night Show”, a stint in the Irish iTunes charts and two tracks from their debut EP making the soundtrack for the International and DVD broadcast of “Love/Hate”, The Rattling Kind returned to the recording studio towards the end of 2014. After a string of digital download release’s, a live performance on IrishTV’s, ‘Mad For Sam Show’ the lads went back to realem’s of creativeness to work other projects and new material. Hot on the heels of a raucous comeback show before Christmas, the urban folk act will debut brand new tunes and a fresh twist on their sound. It’s The Rattling Kind, but revamped. New addition Eoin Dillon, uilleann piper & Co founding member of the legendary Irish act Kila, adds another dimension to the band. Rousing and up tempo reels are now intertwined between tracks and old favourites, bringing a relentless edge to an already impressive live act. Just to wrap up 2016, and the start off the new year the lads performed an intimate show for the residents of Apollo House on New Year’s day. 2017 is already looking good on the horizon for The Rattling Kind , with the release of a new EP this coming summer, just to warm your cockles for the eagerly anticipated album.
