About Tasty Animals

Once upon a time there lived a little boy who fast-forwarded about 20 years and decided to take his guitar styling to a local open mic night and see what kind of response he could get. It was naught but a few months before a man approached him with such words as "What WAS that? I wanna learn how to PLAY that!" Offering his skills on bass, the two easily fused their ideas into a cohesive unit, and given the advent of performing regularly at a vegetarian cafe, the name Tasty Animals was chosen. A year of laughter and tomfoolery took our duo completely out of place and dropped them into a few actual gigs that charged real cover and stuff, where they were soon introduced to a drummer who must've had nothing better to do. While bass-man was off on a geological sexcursion (can you dig it?), guitar-man and drum-man began work on established material and, after playing some very noisy gigs, the three were united and the sound fulfilled. Since coalescence, the band has performed regularly in the Greater Vancouver Area, expressly focusing on writing new songs and building up a local fan base from which to launch itself at the world. We plays grandpa's guitars, and it ams totally brutal. http://soundcloud.com/tasty-animals
