British-born rapper, Bekah is the daughter of a Montserratian father and Pakistani mother. She first found her love for music attending church, having being raised in the Seventh Day Adventist faith by a preacher father. During her teenage years she developed a passion for rap, finding it a restorative way of expressing the feelings and emotions she felt surrounding her identity. As an exceptional lyricist, her story is so singular that it’s hard to draw a line in the sand when it comes to the genre she will create, but you’ll know a Bekah record when you hear it. She has emerged from many diverse projects over the past decade and a half. Unafraid to make you laugh, cry, vent, or think deeply, she has created a space that challenges the norms of what a female rapper can do. Having faced her demons head-on earning the right to be her authentic self, when others say, "I can't" Bekah smiles and says, "Watch me!"
