About Panteon

Emerging from the Brownsville Texas underground scene in 1991, Panteon is a 3 piece metal assault and one of the founding fathers of extreme metal in Texas. Panteon have crafted an original sound that seamlessly blends Black, Death and Thrash Metal into a brutal sonic assault with precision demonic riffing, thunderous drumming, blasphemous lyrical themes and menacing vocals that has stood the test of time and enabled the band to win a legion of fans in the 27 years since their inception. Panteon delivers relentless live performances and have shared the stage with bands like Deicide, Brujería, Amon Amarth, Asesino, Absu, Dead Horse, Gorephobia, Immolation, DRI, Crucifixion, Bloodgeon, Imprecation, Annihialtor, Blaspherian, Severance, Unholy Desecration, Overt Enemy, Confused, Unearthly & Witchtrap from Brazil.

Panteon - 2018
Panteon is Hannibal – Guitar/Vocals, Aaron Panteon – Drums & Valdo -Bass. They stand proud of their roots on the Texas/Mexico border and released their self-titled demo “Panteon” in 1991. Two years later they released “Blood Dripping Corpse” and in 1997 released “Skullville”. In 2000 Hannibal decided to take the music in an even more aggressive death/black metal direction which transformed Panteon into an international touring act. Becoming well known throughout the United States, Mexico, Central & South America with their classic release “Church of Satan” Panteon followed up with the seminal “Visions from Hell” in 2005. In 2010 the 13 song extreme metal masterpiece “Demonic” left no doubt about the bands dedication to their fans, their sound and their home the Rio Grande Valley. 2014 saw the release of another epic album “Return of the Killer” – 12 songs of original uncompromising Texas extreme metal.


"Death and Darkeness" available worldwide on all digital platforms
In 2018 Panteon released their latest opus “Death and Darkness” to acclaim via San Antonio indie label Confused Records. An 8 song journey though the abyss, the album showcases the band’s best songs to date including the aptly titled “Legends of the South”, “King Crow”, “Full Moon Intervention”, “Whores of War” and “The End”. There is no doubt that the rest of the planet is ready to join the legion of extreme metal fans in North and South America in shouting “PURO PINCHE PANTEON” as Panteon continues their march into heavy metal history.
