Wilco

The sound for this show was the best I think I have heard at any rock’n’roll show. Each instrument was clearly heard and Jeff’s voice was very clear. The band was incredible, lots of energy from all of them, particularly Glenn (drums) and Nels (lead guitar). Best show of the year for sure.

at how great the band was. Seen many shows back in the early 70s to now starting with Paul McCarthy and Wings over America 1972 to many a great show In between. Tonight’s Asheville Wilco show was electric. Jam band blended with grunge,folk, indie, blues back by extraordinary musicians. I’d definitely go again and tell,my friends Jon

Fantastic Show!!! Band was in great form...GREAT set list, new stuff and old....plus 4 Encores...The Amp is a great place for a Show. The sound system designed by Baker Audio Visual out of Atlanta was AMAZING!

Sound quality was amazing and the lawn is the best place to hear live music. Unfortunately, the crowd was pretty laced up and seemed unfamiliar with the music. Security guards all over the place made relaxing impossible.

Well presented allot of great music,new as well I appreciate what they bring to a show.It Was like back in the day played more than 3 Hrs.They sounded so tight playing off each other Jeff Tweety what a ligwist in all the show.I And friend ,crowd was all. On the same page Wilco.A band with consistent vibe. Can’t Wait for more.Will

It’s been a long since I’ve seen Wilco live and in that time not only has their repertoire grown but their already considerable musicianship is now at an elite level. Their set covered the gamut from gentle ballads to super charged raucous guitar jams that achieved sonic heights I haven’t experienced in a long time. One of the best concerts I’ve ever attended.

If you're way in to Wilco you probably would had a better time. The first hour was boring...Lots of new and slowwww songs with no energy and they over play solos and musical chaos at the end of too many songs (Wilco signature). The last 45 minutes was much more fun. They only played 2/5 favorite songs which was a bummer. I'm a casual fan but the true Wilco fans will likely have a better review.

What a night!! This was the 4th Wilco show we saw this April, in 2 different countries!! Nels is a wizard because no mere mortal can play like that! They have one of the best catalogs of any band around today. Never miss a chance to see Jeff belt out those beauties, if you are able. LONG LIVE CARL!

So special to be seeing Wilco in their hometown! The band was tight, Jeff sounded great, Nels was a master on the guitar, and Glenn was excellent on the drums. A not to be missed opportunity to hear many diverse songs from Wilco’s catalogue.

They sounded amazing. I have never been a huge Wilco fan, but always appreciated them. They are a band that you could easily listen to all day long, not one I would obsess over. Now that I have seen them live, I am a fan.

Band was amazing. Jeff was funny. Great setlist. Looking forward to the next Wilco concert!! Sound was a little off, but it may have been the insane wind or where my seats were located.

Great Show…. I don’t like the folding chairs in the 100 sections. It’s such great venue, why not use the same seats in the 200 & 400 section. ??? 100’s seating is very cramped. Wilco was great, best sound. Thanks for asking for feedback. Bob

Holy crap this show rocked. We were like Stadler and Waldorf, so we were almost on stage. This was an entirely electric set, and they played Star Wars track for track. They were full on Wilco at this show. It was so loud!!! What a memory. I am so lucky!!!

A magnificent performance as always from the mighty Wilco! Loved every single second of this set which merged new tracks from the album Cruel Country and many favourites from Handshake Drugs , California stars, shot in the arm and the iconic via Chicago! The only UK show made it even more special and thankfully the rain held off until they left the stage! Come back soon!

Great as always. Figured it would be on the mellow side given the nature of the new album, and it was for the first hour or so, then it picked up. Encore killed, smiles all around.

First time seeing Wilco and they did not disappoint. Even though it was quite chilly out, I really appreciated the long encore. First time at Koka Bootha nd it is a beautiful place for a concert.

Wilco sounded great as usual. Better to see them at a show where they get to play a little longer though. California Stars with Billy Brag at the end was amazing. What a great way to end day 2 at Newport!

High energy, explosive, deeply emotional but still a fun show! Tweedy is a front man par excellence and his band mates were all in fine form. High points were a I Am Trying To Break Your Heart segueing into Art Of Almost, Nels Cline's guitar freakout on Impossible Germany, the joyous blast I'm The Man Who Loves You - most of the show, really! The only down moment for me was We Are Not The World - it's just a dumb song. Locator, also from the new album was great, however. Long may they reign!

I've seen Wilco at least 15 times and this was hands down my favorite show. There was a great mix of old and new tunes. I've never heard them tighter and Nels Cline was at his absolute best. The venue was tremendous. The Chicago Theater is quite a room. Hard to believe they've never played there before. They encored twice and finished with a beautiful version of California Stars.

Jeff Tweedy was funny and adorable. The band is full of amazing musicians and sound was great. Tickets through the Riverside website got screwed up but the staff were very nice and helpful at the show.
