In the summer of 2018, the opportunity to reform the explosive, genre bending band
Death Of California presented itself. Coming from the previous form, bassist/vocalist
Joe and drummer Chris teamed up with guitarist Sam and
Ryan to take on a fresh new feel for the future: a fast, nostalgic, aggressive,
melodic fusion of hardcore, emo and punk music.
From the suburban hills and coast of San Diego, Death Of California seeks to break
through genres again by solidifying their sound without limitation. Using influence
from the likes of Blink-182, Bad Religion, Underoath and Saosin, Death Of California
released their self titled EP in the Spring of 2021. Produced by Joey Bradford of
The Vibeatorium, the band is ready to take their sound from the lab to the street.
Taking on lyrical themes that run the mix of life's best and worst, and a sonic sound
that cuts metallic riffs with roaring drum fills... Death Of California is ready to enter
the arena.
