September Mourning

September Mourning delivered one of those concerts where you live the show. They are truly a top tier band which has an amazing performance. My reference for their show was the last concert I went to which was Rammstein at Gillette Stadium which if you know Rammstein you know the performance quality. Give September Mourning Gilette Stadium and they would deliver a show that would give Rammstein a run for their money. Don't miss your chance to see them.

September Mourning……wow! I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them twice now and would gladly see them twenty more times! They bring it! High energy from the reapers, great costume on Ms. Emily Lazar, artistic creativity with a graphic novel story being told on each album. Bravo!

Always nice to see September and the Reapers. The VIP experience was a little chaotic though ...probably due to the venue constraints, we had to meet in their Sprinter van instead (which made for cramped quarters indeed). But they certainly made up for that with their kickass set.

Truly phenomenal performance! I would recommend everyone who enjoys their music see them live. One of my favorite concerts I've been to. Even got them a new fan cause my friend didn't know them and enjoyed herself a lot and loved the music and performance!

Great show. The sound techs could have lowered the levels for the instruments for the size of the venue , some times it was hard to hear the vocals.

Short set of only 4 songs but SM are always great to see. Rich and Emily are such nice inviting people. We did the vip with them and had them all to ourselves for about an hour. Granted I’ve been following them and have known them for several years now. But still a cool experience. Bands make their money from MERCH sales and these vip tickets. So if you really want to support a band that’s how to do it. Love my Emily. Will see them again as soon as they come back.

The show was amazing. September Mourning and Ashes To New gave a great performance as always and we got to see a band American Sin check them out I don't think you will be disappointed.

Even though the crowd was sparse the band blazed in like the storm & really rocked that place! September Mourning was in top form & she definitely didn't disappoint her loyal fans by any measure. An amazing show!!!

Was a awesome show September Mourning didn’t disappoint. Only bad thing was the venue booking three local openers and delaying SM till 11 before they went on. Plus the openers were horribly bad

Been a fan of SM and Emily for quite some time now. This was my 7th or 8th time seeing them live this year. And this was the best show yet. They've integrated the comic book story into their concert by projecting tid bits of the flash art onto a large screen and the story is told. In between the story line Emily and the band break in with songs. I heard impatient boos from the crowd but they obviously don't get the whole purpose of this. It's a story told through various forms of art. It's not your typical concert. Everything flows so well it's really amazing and beautiful to watch. One thing I've noticed after seeing many of their shows is Emily is most definitely owning that stage. Her stage presence and charisma is enthralling and addictive. Love, love, love what she has done so far. It's frightening that she's only getting better.

2nd time seeing September Mourning, 3rd time coming up in 11 days then again in June. Absolutely love this band, their music and their message. They put on a fabulous show. Emily is a born to be entertainer that will be around for years to come. Her lyrics are darkly poetic yet beautiful. Her voice can cover everything from violent screams to the softness of an angels whisper. Their transmedia outlet combining the story of their comic book series with the music and theatrics is fresh and outstanding. It's hard to confine them to a genre as I've never experienced anything like them before. But it looks good, sounds good and is moving in a way music rarely moves me so I am truly a fan. They will be headlining their own concerts this summer which I am eager to follow. Best of all they are approachable, receptive and appreciative of their fans. Highly recommended seeing them and decide for yourself. As for the venue itself it's definitely up close and personal. I have to imagine every performer there would prefer a larger stage. I would return for future concerts though.

This was my 3rd time seeing September Mourning live. And won't be my last. As you may see in prior reviews the way they incorporate the comic book series and their music on stage is something to behold. And from what I've been told their headlining tour this summer will be even more outstanding than this opening act. I would highly recommend music fans not to miss the opportunity to see this. Emily truly embraces her role and captivates the audience with her playful yet tough spirit and antics on stage. I can't wait to see this band mature. They are already awe inspiring and they've just started. Wonderful people and jaw dropping music. Pay attention if you see September Mourning heading your way. That's a show you want to see. The Apollo theatre was quite nice. Ample space for several hundred people. The stage is protected by a guard rail which, for the artist, I think is a good thing. Although a few of the musicians found this to be a great place to stand and interact with the crowd. Would definitely return for future concerts.

Was an awesome time and show. The band themselves were great to the fans always willing to sign and take photos when you ran into them. Definitely see these guys if you get the chance

Outstanding and they're only going to get better. Watch out for this band. They are going to be huge. It's not just about throwing some metal riffs together and sticking a hot girl up front. Emily (September) can sing. I am absolutely in love with her vocals. She can hit the soft whispery elegant vocals clear through the hard core screams. The band has a wonderful back story based on their comic books. But don't be fooled this is no kiddie comic book reading band. Her lyrics have substance and meaning. Some just cut right through you like,"death has always known who I am". Her onstage presence demands attention and keeps the audience captivated. Meeting the band afterwards I was equally impressed by their candor. Both September and Wraith were very kind, thankful and actively engaged in conversation. I cannot recommend this band highly enough. Catch them when you can. Ticket prices for this band are going to soar in the coming years. Xoxo @emilylazarsm

Great show one of the best I've been to. It was a small venue which I liked because it's more and up close and personal experience. I met the band and got 2 of their comics signed. I can't wait to see them again.

powerful, melodic, and mysticism. These are words that I believe make up September mourning. they are worth seeing, and listening. their theatrical attire and presentation on stage really set them apart from other bands of today.
