About Badmouth

In the beginning (2007) it was only a studio project. Chris LeMon (Bass) and Mike Hill (Rhythm Guitar) had no intentions to play live or even to record an album. Just a couple of friends recording and writing songs. The next obvious step was to find band members so they called on Tom Pearsson (Vocals), Randy Joy (Lead Guitar) and Rick Hard (drums) to complete the lineup and thus, Badmouth was born. As they began to work hard in different social networks they rapidly developed a loyal fanbase. It was then the band decided to record a full length album and aim for the top. 2008 saw the release of their self titled debut by an American indepent label. It was produced by Paul Sabu (best known for his work with Alice Cooper and WASP) and was very well received by fans and critics all over the world. The band did a handfull of European tours in 2009, opening for Kingdom Come, LA Guns and Pretty Boy Floyd and played shows with Sator, Zodiac Mindwarp and The Poodles among others. Badmouth was also 1 of 5 bands who won a competition to perform at the Arvika Festival that summer. In 2010 Rick Hard was replaced by Vinnie Sharpe. The band then teamed up with notorious producer Chips Kiesbye (Hellacopters, Sahara Hotnights, Millencollin, etc) for their sophomore effort. "Heavy Metal Parking Lot" was released in June 2011 by Rambo Music (Sony/Gain) and received even more favorable reviews than their stunning debut. The band supported Cinderella in Stockholm, WASP in Norway and played the Skogsröjet Festival along with WASP, UDO, DAD, Bullet and Hardcore Superstar that summer. Instead of resting on their laurels, Badmouth went directly back in the studio (again with Chips Kiesbye) to record an EP of four songs by Swedish singer/songwriter Sofia Talvik entitled "T. Part 3 of H.A.T.E.". One of four bands to do so, they put their own stamp on the Sofia tunes giving another outstanding result. The EP is now available on digital release. In September they went on tour supporting ex-Guns N' Roses guitarist Gilby Clarke in Sweden. Chris LeMon and Vinnie Sharpe filled in doing double-duty as Gilby's rhythm section for the tour. Badmouth are set to support Clarke yet again in February 2012 this time hitting the UK and France. Vinnie Sharpe has since left the band and will be replaced temporarily by hard-hitting youngster Triple B (ex Killer Clan of FUN).
