sunDollars calls Macon, Georgia home. A town that seemingly has been vacant of a cohesive music scene since the decline of Capricorn Records, Macon saw a resurgence of young bands in the past few years and found sunDollars, among others, at the front of the movement. When you combine a group of people with such vast differences in their influences, there's left a high chance that you're either going to come up with a sound that reflects each and every record listened to that year or simply a mess. Together, they worked past this and have found something to call their own. In bedrooms and garages, the four have crafted a lonesome, yet vibrant set of songs that are very much inspired by place. Communion can be found in their songs and at their live shows. Egos are unwelcome and revelry is encouraged, as they swap roles throughout their set, each member never far from a microphone.
