His recent releases are at the center of Alternative Country-Rock. His songs fit perfectly alongside Wilco, The Jayhawks, Old 97s, and Counting Crows. These 12 singles were produced in Las Vegas by Thaddeus Corea (son of jazz legend Chick Corea).
Michael performs both as a solo artist and with his band. He has opened shows for Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven, Nada Surf, The Spin Doctors, and Billy Strings. Previously the lead guitarist (and sometimes vocalist) of Las Vegas' 2017 Best Rock Band, The All-Togethers.

Sometimes songwriting is like tuning an old shortwave radio. Like trying to listen to a faraway place. Just slowly turning the dial, trying to get on the same wavelength so that you can commune with the past or catch glimpses of the future.
