Lee Dynes Music

Lee Dynes is a multi-instrumentalist, guitarist, Oud player, composer, improviser, and educator located in the Bay Area of California. Lee Dynes has been playing professionally as a jazz guitarist since he was a teenager growing up in Dayton, OH, and has become a fixture in Bay Area jazz scene as a guitarist. Dynes not only is a seasoned jazz guitarist, but also is a professional Oud player; having performed in Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and African music genres with the Aswat Ensemble, Alatruca Connection, and Sudan Music Ensemble. He also studied Hindustani Classical Music on fretless guitar at the Ali Akbar Khan College in Marin County. Lee recorded his debut album as a leader called “Pathways” in 2015, featuring all original music. Dynes also teaches daily in Novato, CA at Marin Music Center, specializing in instruction of Guitar, Bass, Oud, Ukulele, and Mandolin.
