Mario Aleman

Rumba Flamenco-Contemporary Acoustic guitarist/composer, Mario Alemán, is currently a self managed artist with two albums to his credit: 'Acoustic Poetry' (1998), 'Soulspeak' (2004) and performs for his indie label, Innerflame Productions. Alemán's musical performance is an exciting blend of intense Rumba Flamenco rhythms, seasoned with impassioned, soul-stirring melodies, and all topped with Mario's fiery & blistering guitar fret work. Steady bookings, including session/studio and live performances, keep the Rio Grande Valley native very busy on the local and international music scene. In 1990, Mario took 1st place at the Art Institute of Dallas' Guitar Wars competition, in 2001, had the honor to perform for former US President Bill Clinton; more recently in 2011, Mario was guest performer along with the Valley Symphony Orchestra & Chorale at the City of McAllen, TX's 100th Birthday Gala at the McAllen Convention Center. Alemán is currently promoting his most recent CD release, Soulspeak, an instrumental album in the Rumba Flamenco format which showcases Mario's incredible talent.
