DJ Don Juan

Influenced by a wide array of music, DJ Don Juan has found a way to share his passion for music with the Calgary nightlife. Known for his ability to read and feed a crowd, Juan gained his popularity by blending yesterday’s hits with tomorrow’s sound. His bi-monthly sets released on soundcloud (Pregame Mixdown) have received over 50 thousand hits in just over a year, landing him a spot on DJ City’s Roster (based out of Los Angeles, California) with Fit Radio.

An Ontario native, DJ Don Juan has earned his status in the Calgary DJ scene. He began his career focusing on turntablism and later shifted his focus on learning the music. Recognizing his talent for delivering an open format set, Don Juan was quickly picked up by popular lounges and pubs in Calgary's busiest avenue (17th ave) aka "The Red Mile", where he made his name. He continues to hold the residency at The Den & Black Lounge [University of Calgary] (Thursden) on Thursdays nights. "Thursden" has grown to be Calgary's most popular thursday night, housing nearly 1000 student every week.

In 2013, Don Juan teamed up with Rocswell and formed the dynamic duo seen in Calgary's biggest clubs today #rocswellxdonjuan.

In 2014, Juan was signed to the Across The Board Entertainment team, based out of Toronto, Canada and named an ATB ALL STAR with his teammate Rocswell. DJ Don Juan plans to expand his horizon by announcing shows across Canada in 2017
