About Secreum
Secreum are a 4 piece metal band formed in North London in 2012. With crushing guitar riffs and pummelling drums along with an ear bursting low end in between frenetic solos, it provides the perfect backdrop to convey all the injustices we deal with in life whilst also shedding light on the things we hold most dear.
Arriving on to the local metal scene 9 years ago, they built up a strong and supportive fan base that grew from every show. However, continuous line-up changes and conflicting interests continued to build up, leading to a brief hiatus from 2014. 3 years later, the decision was made to relight the same fire ignited years ago with a renewed sense of energy. After fine tuning material old and new, the time has come for Secreum to finally break through the doors opened by the same bands that have - and continue - to influence them, while conveying a message of positivity and introspection.
Their unique blend of different sub-genres ranging from progressive & groove to extreme style metal has been a hit wherever they’ve been booked. They have played London extensively, including 2 opening slots at the legendary Camden Underworld, finalists of the Bloodstock Metal 2 The Massive initiative, and multiple tours up and down the rest of the UK as well as 2 dates overseas.
With 2 EP’s behind them - Embrace (2021) and 2023’s Voice Of Reason - work is underway on their debut album set for a 2025 release TBA.
