Sasha studied music and poetry at Cambridge University and later completed her PhD at Harvard University. After writing for the likes of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Opera House, and being awarded a British Composer Award, Sasha released two experimental albums (Most of the Boys, Bird Burning) recorded with producer Valgeir Sigurðsson (Björk, Feist, The XX, Sigur Rós), in The Greenhouse Studios in Iceland to critical acclaim from the likes of Clash, NME, The Quietus, Wonderland, The 405, Stereogum, Marie Claire, Noisey, Q magazine, Billboard, The Guardian.

In 2019 she was awarded The New Wave Artist Award at the Fashion Media Awards alongside other awardees: Kate Moss, Edward Enninful, Zendaya, Emily Ratajkowski and has performed at Festival and venues across the UK, Europe and US.
