Haunted Stereo

Haunted Stereo are an alt-folk/ indie/ experimental six-piece line-up from Southampton. Originally founded in late 2007, the band create intricate layers of sound with an array of melodic instruments. Haunted Stereo are very much about the thrills and fun that is to be had from playing live music together. The band have supported numerous critically acclaimed acts such as Rough Trade prodigees The Veils, folk-hero Johnny Flynn, neo-orchestral cult act The Irrepressibles and American jazz swing act Hot Club of Cowtown, as well as pop gems Thomas Tantrum and Micachu and The Shapes. But the group, who are signed to the co-operative Sotones label, are also very much embedded in the local Southampton Scene, frequently playing for nights such as Ejector Seat and Long Live Rock'n'Roll. Having released three EPs, the title tracks of which have been played on Xfm, BBC6 Music and BBC1, amongst others, the band are releasing their first Sotones Records double A-side "On a Pin/ Lock the Doors" on 17th May.
