After The Flesh

Over the past year After the Flesh has become a self sustaining metal band from Sacramento CA. Given a unique opportunity ATF set out to build their own recording/practice studio aptly named, “Green Room Studios.” After constructing their own studio they laid down tracks their first, self produced, full length studio album, Dreamscape. ATF has had the privilege of being support for many national acts including After the Burial, Dragonforce and Unearth. ATF creates music that suits their own musical tastes, not aiming to suit any particular style or genre. The desire to create music for themselves is reflected in their DIY approach, from building their own studio, to producing self producing a full length album, and dedicating the time to enjoy the hell out of what they do. ATF combines elements from thrash, death metal, groove metal and hardcore integrated with multiple time signatures and tempo changes to help create a flow and musical atmosphere. Aiming convey their view of the world through different thoughts and emotions and please their own musical ambitions. In the process of self producing their album, After The Flesh has been given the opportunity to evolve musically and display a concept within the album. In 2013, Dreamscape will be available and After The Flesh; an album design to have solidarity and purpose. Dreamscape is a concept album seen in its ability to guide the listener through a series of philosophical ideas surrounding the evolution of life, the human experience, and ultimate demise of the being. This journey is shaped through a well thought out sequence of music accompanied with lyrical themes to push the concept of each song to a new level. Riding the high of creating an album to be proud of After The Flesh is set to hit the west coast metal scene hard.
