Mad-Sweet Pangs

Mad-Sweet Pangs has maintained an intensive focus on well-crafted songs, high-quality recordings, high-energy live performances, and a love of their northern Delaware music scene over the past seven years. The quartet has brought their particular brand of Folk-Rock/Psychedelia to a wide range of venues spanning the East Coast and Midwest. They offer timeless songwriting -- the postcards of their imaginations -- and in their compositions, attempt to unearth the psychological underpinnings of everyday events. Mad-Sweet Pangs' live performances have been described as "tightly composed, ragtime-upbeat, energetic, and intimate," and each member of the quartet keeps a "push-our-collective-envelope" musical approach to their free-form improvisations. The band has sought to blend candid, danceable, fun-lovers easiness with the poetic sensibilities and intimate emotions of their varied inspiration.
