Muirhead (born August 10, 1988) better known as Que or stage name Dark Thug is an American rap artist that hails from Milwaukee, WI. Dark Thug started rapping at the age of 13 with some middle school friends in a group known as YT or Young Thugs. From there the name changed to Block Burnas and finally Off The Block after spotting it on a shirt at a local clothing store. Dark Thug has a very versatile style and raps about many different aspects of his life from true experiences to thoughts and feelings. In 2008 while serving in Iraq as a member of the U.S. Army Dark Thug was stricken ill with Leukemia and Pneumonia. After what the doctors described as a miracle recovery, Dark Thug was medically retired from military service and pursued his dream as a hip-hop artist. Motivated by his daughter Riley and Wife Jennifer he seeks to set a blaze to the music industry. In 5 years Dark Thug sees himself with a big name in the industry still grinding hard to reach his full potential. If he could collaborate with one artist of his choice it would be Eminem, because he was inspired to start rapping listening to Eminem. The message he would like to send his supporters is “that he is truly grateful for them and that he feel they are not strangers but family to him. Dark Thug has an upcoming show in Houston at the Fitzgerald on February 10th at 5pm with Earth Entertainment.
