This cozy room provided the stellar backdrop to a haunting, mythical and etheric set by Ora Cogan. I have seen her four times and her abilities always shine, as she takes you on a journey through her folklorique imagination and song. As she played, she sang directly out at the audience at times and also sat back and turned to the side, as she focused on playing her guitar. Both her voice and strings as instruments are profoundly moving and entrancing. For an hour or so, she held us in her spell and convinced us of the divinity of this kind of song. I was awestruck by her supreme beauty again and will return for as many more of her shows as I can!
