MC Thunda

Thunda is quite literally by name and in deed, every part the force of nature that his name sake suggests. Taking infinite amounts of passion and hunger and utilizing those emotions in a drive to become a main stage master of rave ceremonies; Thunda’s well practised and tightly mastered skill balances him nicely in the centre point between both excellent main stage host and creative lyrical genius and allows him to be an artist worth noticing in both fields. First picking up a microphone in 2008 and working every single day to power and hone his talent, Thunda’s various appearances at scores of underground electronic rave music events up and down the United Kingdom allowed him to not only work with some of the finest up and coming artists the scene had to offer, but also, get to know and work with promoters and venues on all points of the compass. In 2011, Thunda would make the jump from back room to main stage with World famous rave brand ‘Ravers Reunited’ undertaking Thunda’s first main stage exposure. The recognition for such hard practiced and well-rounded talent would continue though with rave titans ‘Hardcore Heaven’ and its many supporters voting Thunda as a short listed contender in the nominations for the ‘Breakthrough MC’ accolade, with Thunda being voted for, for three consecutive years running in 2011, 2012 and 2013. Since then he’s performed at and maintained residencies at such events as ‘Phuture Beatz’, ‘No Man’s Land’ and ‘Hardcore Revolution’, had repeated bookings from such event producing super icons as ‘Hardcore ‘Til I Die’, ‘Fantasy Island’, ‘Slammin Vinyl’, ‘TLI’, ‘Horizon’, ‘Dizstruxshon’ and ’Fantazia’ and even, taken pride of place at the award winning ‘HTID In The Sun’ events in both Llorett De Mar and Magaluf. Although not stopping there, his achievements just kept rising. Shortly after, Thunda was signed to international artists Joey Riot and Kurt’s award winning label Lethal Theory Records. In 2014 he took to the Main Arena of the mighty sold out ‘Westfest’ Main Stage and played his part in Lethal Theory’s outstanding live show and not much further after that, his debut mixtape, ‘Lyrical Convict’ sold out completely on CD and hit downloads in the thousands being met with an incredible response from ravers Worldwide. The second volume, is currently doing the rounds and being met with an equally, if not even more enthusiastic response from fans than its predecessor. Now, in 2016, Thunda continues to master his craft, dropping fast paced, well thought out, intelligent lyrics and flows, consistently breaking boundaries, constantly championing his own personal best and always pushing himself to the very limits of absolute perfection, never settling for anything less. Meaning - MC Thunda’s future in the scene is looking like one of great achievement and growth to the upper echelons of those he looks up to - because on a main stage… when he strikes… there is damage all around, the good kind, the hair raising kind, the lyrical kind.
