One of the best live bands out there today. This show was a beautiful communion with Joe serenading the crowd about unity, loving oneself and being grateful to just exist. I absolutely can’t wait until they come back around so I can be right up front, screaming along to every word and shredding my vocal cords to where I lose my voice for three days after.

A fabulous evening I had been dying to see them for the last few years and was just up the road. We stood in front on the mixing desk and my chums and I felt like we may have only been a year or two over average of the whole venue which I would call as 35-37. I find them an intriguing band whose “albums” career is so short crosses multiple generations. Basically a fab night 😉👍

3rd show I’ve seen this band, and they keep getting more polished. It is an absolute pleasure to see and hear this band fine tune and grow their sound in a world where rock and punk are seldom seen at this level, in this newer generation of musicians. They are climbing a ladder and it’s so exciting to witness it happening.

For a first concert this was absolutely insane and would 100% go to another concert in another city. It's unfortunate that this is gonna be my best concert ever but also my first so its all downhill from here. Broke my wrist while drumming to gift horse btw

Salut ! J'ai raté mars 2024 à Paris ayant découvert ce groupe de manière improbable sur Culture Box (la 14) en février 2024. Ils passaient la session "From the Basement" de 2022.
TROP COURT ! J'ai tellemnt hâte de les revoir ! J'aimerai tellemnt aussi qu'ils jouent "Meydey".
A bientôt IDLES ! LOVE !

Great venue, great gig, finished on time. Except we were prevented from exiting with 15 minutes to spare before our last train to London. All because the band had to leave the site first. So we saw them passing by us, on the other side of our pen. Not great. The staff were catching people escaping, it was ridiculous. We got our train on time but that wasn't cool.

Best live band in the world, actually, no photos, thanks to God. I have seen phones fly in the sky saturday night. I lost my left shoe, my t-shirt of Nick Cave was ripped apart, and I had tried to return home, half naked with one shoes in my orange dress with my foot because i had lost also my friend with the car, probably is dead. Great concert, maybe too short but amazing concert and band

I just never felt connected to the band. Lighting was a distraction. Whenever the groove was going the front man would do dull antics that killed the vibe or the guitarist would be fiddling with his amp. A real lack of cohesiveness in my opinion. Worst show I've seen all year. Venue was too big for them.

Absolutely brilliant performance. The energy of the band and crowd was great. The show would have been five stars, were it somewhere else. Roseland has some of the worst acoustics of any venue in town, except for Crystal Ballroom which is equally bad. Joe has an issue hearing his m monitor and had to sit out the first half of Mother. Luckily, the crowd was versed enough with the song to fill in the vocals, which was great. At the last show I saw there, the opening act for Big Thief almost walked off the stage. It amazes me how they continue to be able to book such great bands with the sound being so terrible. Multiple acts have voiced their frustration, but nothing seems to change. Idles, if you’re listening, I’d love to see you again at a better venue. Perhaps outdoors at Edgefield, at the Schnitzer Auditorium or Revolution Hall. That being said, staff was friendly and helpful.

Probably the greatest concert I have been to. Everyone had a great energy. Everyone was enjoying themselves. The pit had magnetic energy that always took me back in. This trumps the previous greatest concert I had been to which was Gojira in 2016.

Honestly, hands down, one of the best bands right now! No surprise they have a very dedicated following. Great crowd! I missed out twice on catching them in 2019. One pandemic later, I made it and can not wait to see them again! I left after the show with a big-ass smile and fully energized. Thank you! Also, a great venue, excellent sound & light, staff and all. No wait time, etc.

Hard rock for softies!

My first visit to The project House. The attributes of the room seemed to be a challenge to the sound man but I was very impressed with the sound quality it was very good given the room was not built for performance. I have been to lots of similar places and the sound was usually awful. First time I have seen Idles live and first listening to the new songs. I think the initial hearing especially live and and an immediate affinity to the work speaks volumes. The band were superb, the performance full of energy everything all together brilliant.

What could there be to say, about that evenings show, that wasn’t already obvious??? Smaller venue + HUGE band = 1 very WELL DONE performance!!! That being said, I do feel as if there was a specific kind of energy missing, making the whole evening just slightly incomplete. Hmmmm… If only Bowen were there, that particular evening. As good as Idles performance was… I can’t help but believe that his presence would have completed the circle, elevating the entire experience into a magni-fucking-fique 5-STAR show! Maybe next time…

This was my first ever IDLES concert, as well as the first concert I ever went to on my own. Holy shit. The energy from the band and crowd was insane. I was being slapped around by sweaty bodies for a whole hour and a half and I enjoyed every second. Every member of the crowd was looking out for each other, picking up fallen moshers and calling out to return lost items after a song. Plus, the bouncers made sure everyone was hydrated and safe. The guitarist (shoutout Mark) surfed into the crowd many times, passing around his guitar and playing in the pit itself. Joe's charismatic comments, honesty, and pure unbridled energy kept my eyes on him while I got hearing damage. The whole band was just exceptional, and the opener (Preoccupations) was also hella good! God damn incredible show.

Great show as always but some of the people there were just awful. One person bit my friend trying to get to the front and stomped his feet repeatedly. She also bit someone else apparently and threatened to "ban him from all New York venues." Kind of took a little bit away from the experience imo

I didn't think they could top the leadmill gig, venue isn't quite as good but the high stage didn't stop the fellas getting down into the crowd. The set seemed better and the crowd were amazing too. These guys absolutely are at the top of their game. If you can see them you really should treat yourselves. A whole room full of people singing "the best way to scare tory is to read and get rich" is really a pleasure I won't forget in a hurry.

Absolutely amazing. The raw energy from this band and the great venue and crown made this a totally unforgettable experience. Love that they don't bother with an encore, just play all the songs they're going to play. Guitarists getting off stage and right into the crowd. Really was an absolutely amazing gig. What a really lovely bunch of fellas too. Crows in support were excellent.

Such an amazing band. Such an amazing show. Definitely feel like you are part of something special at any of their shows. You get it or you don’t. If you do...you’re changed. This band is as real as it gets. Unifying and beautiful. I’m so incredibly grateful for their music and message.
Thank you Idles.
