Listen Close

Listen Close is a three piece band from Islip NY. Formed in 2005 they did mainly covers under the name Dead End until they began breaking into the music scene and changing their name. The members include Mike Mcgarry and guitar and lead vocals, Tom DeCillis on bass and backing vocals, and Chris Wurglics on drums and backing vocals. After recording their first EP they have performed all over Long Island and began breaking into New Jersey and the New England scene. While their sound has many influences such as hard rock, psychedelic, and little punk, it can all be traced back to a groovy reggae rock feel. Their most recent achievements involve playing at the 2012 Bamboozle festival and the first ever Soupergroove Music Festival. Anxious to get back in the studio and kick start another great year, Listen Close will release their second EP sometime in August. 3 Piece reggae/experimental rock group from Islip, NY.
